Peyton grew up in Encinitas and has lived in the Encinitas/La Costa area her whole life! She recently graduated from CSUSM with a degree in Kinesiology and still likes to keep on with exercise and nutrition research🤓. She grew up doing dance and cheering in high school. Peyton fell in love with barre because of the familiar positions and movements from her dance background! She and her husband are high school sweethearts and are one of the few couples who had a wedding in 2020. They have a cute mutt named Maverick (guess what high school they went to 😉) and enjoy walking him on the trails in their neighborhood. When Peyton’s not at the barre, she works as a chiropractic assistant and spends her free time serving at her church, baking, organizing, and coming up with DIY projects!

Tina is a San Diego native who married another San Diego native (rare!). She and her husband have worked their way up the coast since meeting in 2007 and settled in Encinitas in 2016. They absolutely love it here and can’t imagine calling anywhere else home. They welcomed their daughter in 2020 and now spend most of their days chasing around a spunky toddler and a dog.
Tina grew up in the dance studio and danced all the way through the start of college. She has a background in fashion and earned a marketing degree from FIDM. While fashion is absolutely one of her passions still she also found herself succeeding in sales, logistics and event planning over the course of her career. Life changed a bit after having her daughter (thanks Covid) and after being a stay at home mom for a few years she was so ready to get back to taking on more of a challenge for herself. Tina has been tucking at Studio Barre since 2017 and while being a loyal client for years was so much fun she’s found that being an official part of the SBE team is even better!
When Tina isn’t teaching or taking class at SBE you can find her going on a new adventure with her family, meeting girlfriends for a glass (or 3) of wine, shopping or planning her next getaway. Tina’s father was born in Italy and one of her favorite trips to date was bringing her husband to her family’s tiny little village in their tiny little mountain town in Italy. It’s their goal to get back there soon with their daughter now so that she can start learning about her family heritage too.

Kelly took her first barre class in 2010 and never looked back. The music, instructors, clients and of course the workout got her hooked instantly. She’s always had a passion for fitness, and if she’s not at barre you can find her out for a run, long walk or a bike ride. She enjoys traveling with her family whether they are hitting the slopes, laying on a beach or checking out a new city.
Kelly is so happy to be apart of the SBE team and great organization.

Jessica was born and raised in Encinitas. She attended Pacific View Elementary waaaay back when it was the coolest school in town with an amazing view of the Pacific Ocean right from the lunch tables. She also went to Oak Crest and San Dieguito so she is local to the core. She met her husband in high school and together they have three amazing children. Jessica started taking barre classes a decade ago and has slowly built her way up to being a regular morning barre babe. If she’s not holding down the corner spot at the studio, you can find her somewhere around town shopping for care package items for her college kids or planning the next social hour at her house. She loves to host our Studio Barre book club too! Jessica and her husband keep very busy traveling to visit their kids in college or planning mini weekend getaways with friends.

Fast forward 5 years from my last baby’s birth and knew I needed to find something not only for my physical health, but mental health as well. Knowing that my last baby would be starting kindergarten gave me some serious feelings.
I walked into SBE June 2019, and was hooked. I’d done all the other workouts, Zumba, spin, step… nothing filled my heart, soul or gave me the workout and change in my body I was looking for. I took one barre class at SBE and literally never looked back. I went everyday. I completed my centurion status in 112 days. I was hooked
I knew pretty quickly in taking class that I would also love to teach. Fast forward to January 2020 and I auditioned and went into training.
I love taking class just as much as I love teaching. You’ll see me in the studio often, either teaching or taking. If you love a good themed class there’s a good chance I’ve got one planned for you.
There are two things I’m passionate about in life, first my family, second my Tribe at SBE and giving and getting the best workout ever.
Daniela graduated from UCLA in 2016 with a degree in Kinesiology and it was soon after returning back to San Diego that she took her first barre class ever at Studio Barre Encinitas. She immediately fell in love with the high energy and high intensity workout as well as with the community of strong women. In the Fall of 2016, after only about a month, she began teaching and never looked back. SBE is her happy place where she not only feels supported but is able to use her passion to help others leave feeling like they can take on the world.
When she’s not teaching on mic or in class getting her own shake on, you can find Daniela somewhere in the north county fitness community, at the beach, or going on an adventure with her rescue pup, Yuka
She grew up a competitive dancer and followed her dreams of sharing that love with others by teaching dance starting at the age of 15.
After leaving Illinois and her decade-long career in teaching dance, she found a new home as a Barre{tender} at Studio Barre.
She immediately fell in love with the barre technique and has a strong passion for the community of women that Studio Barre brings together. Being with her tribe at Studio Barre makes every shake & tuck worth it.
When she isn’t in class or on the mic, you can usually find her spending time at the beach with her husband & her babies, Greyson & Kensley.
Health and fitness have always been a priority in Kris’ life. In high school, she was on the dance team and fortunate enough to dance in the opening ceremonies of the 1984 Los Angeles olympic games. through the 80’s and 90’s she continued different forms of aerobics, including dance and step. she’s also an avid marathon runner and has competed in many half-marathons throughout the county.
in 2008, her dear friend Shannon not only suggested she try a “barre” class, but Shannon also recruited her to help open a new barre studio. kris was instantly humbled and filled with questions, yet she took the leap of faith as the first “barre”tender. she enjoys teaching and managing the amazing crew at studio barre.
She resides in Carlsbad with her husband, two kids and a dog. in addition to being an inspirational mom and instructor, kris is an incredible baker. on special occasions at the studio, kris’ signature cupcakes will make an appearance as a special reward for clients after an intense workout! she also loves running into clients around town because they will stop her and share their gratitude for their new studio barre bodies.
Shawna is a gemini vegetarian with a deep affection for coffee, reality tv, traveling, and a good workout. born and bred in north county san diego, shawna has always been active, playing tennis and cheering in high school. after graduating from pepperdine with a degree in spanish, shawna returned to her beloved san diego where she took a job as a director of membership at a private county club.
After being a gym rat for years, shawna finally tried a barre workout and was immediately hooked. the closing of her original studio led her to studio barre where she not only found a challenging workout but also a community of amazing women -two of whom would set her up on a blind date with the man who would eventually become her fiancé.
When she’s not at the country club or the barre, shawna is pursuing another of her passions, her style and lifestyle blog.

after graduating from sdsu with a degree in nutrition, erin attended the san diego culinary institute in 2006 which led to her working with sam the cooking guy as his culinary assistant/right hand woman.
erin is so thrilled to be back in the dance studio, teaching and sharing the energy and undeniable results that studio barre brings. all that tucking, squeezing, amazing play lists and fabulous clients combined with the passion for dance makes her teaching at studio barre a delight.
logan was hooked the second she took her first class at studio barre. the deep burn, pumping music, and positive vibes had her sold just 15 minutes into the class. teaching has always been another one of logan’s passions so when she was able to combine instructing and her love for creating those long, lean muscles; she knew it was the perfect fit! logan’s motto: leave any barriers at the door, trust your strength, and “tuck” like a boss.
you can catch logan “kicking it up” as a rockette in new york city during christmas as well as kicking your booty here at studio barre!
